Parts to stop the play
After 5 years of abuse (but well taken care of maintenance cause I don’t like to spend $ from careless neglect) these bushings developed play (yea I managed to stretch the life of these parts with good maintenance) so I had to make the rear stiff again. And wouldn’t you know it that it fixed the problem. I’m not going to lie, I actually prefer this type over bearings, cause of the low cost, ez maintenance. The main pivot has bearings and I’ve had to change those a couple times already, which I’m not a fan of cause that means more waste for the environment and I’m a nerd about the planet I live in even tho it might seem futile at times. But reusing shit is somewhat of a kink of mine and well I’m glad they still support the older model. And if you think it’s kinda expensive for little parts, they are machined very well, with all the little grooves (channels) for grease to move. And so I started doing the math that it’s actually priced pretty well (5 years without having to replace them) ABC pivot bushings seem to be better than standard bearings. My personal opinion. “If you’re having pivot problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but rough suspension ain’t one”
