Some things lacking...
I bought this bike mostly for the frame, because of the angles, threaded BB and water bottle mounts. I'd give the frame 5 stars but the paint job is very prone to chipping, and the chain stay protector was already peeling off upon delivery :( Equipment wise, the fork is a boat anchor; this is the heaviest bike I own by far, including my other hardtails. I swapped it out pretty quick. The square taper BB is a necessity at this price, but OK. I love the gearing. My main beef is with the tire choice and that the rims came out of true within 5 rides and the spokes were loose. That just shouldn't happen. I'm used to Rocky using Wheeltech wheels that stay true until you taco them, and even my last girlfriend stayed true longer than these rims. The Kenda tires? C'mon Rocky, you can do better than that. They aren't even tubeless ready. Bike rides great and the straight seat tube allows for a 210mm one up dropper on the size L. If you are taller, you could probably fit a 240 on the size L.
