Buy velcro gloves.

When I owned the 2014 Altitude Rally Edition. It would say to me "Hold on this is going to be fun".

When I owned the 2018 Altitude c70 it would say "Hold on we are about to go fast".

This bike says " Hold on or I'm leaving without you"

This bike rips. It will go over everything in its way. It's hungry for roots, rocks and air.

It's heavier then the previous Altitudes I've had but at warp speeds on rough DH's I'll take the added weight because it feels solid over the rough stuff.

"But what about the climbs"?

The DHX2 has a climb switch that stiffens it up about 85% of " lock out" so it isn't ridged but it doesn't bob either. I added a oval chain ring to help with the climbs.

Over all.

After 1 year of owning this 2021 c70 coil edition, I'm very impressed and believe that this edition of the Altitude is the best yet.

I'm looking forward to seeing what differences the next generation will have because I can't think of anything I'd change. Except maybe putting the torque numbers on the bolts like Trek does.

If you can find one for sale, get it. You won't be disappointed.

Cheers

Ryan
