Puts a smile on my every time!
Picked up a black and grey in size medium for my 5’7” frame. Geometry fits me well and pedals comfortably. For the price it’s a great value for those who do light trail riding and for those who are starting out in cross country riding (it lacks mounting holes for a rear rack but there’s ways around that).
Entry level components. Pleasantly surprised mine came with Shimano deore bl-m4100/ br-mt410 hydraulic braking system as opposed to the Clarks listed in specs…a huge plus. Very good progressive feel. The micro shift shifting feels a bit cheap but is precise and the derailleur has a clutch! Bonus points for that. The frame is beautiful in black and grey and is built with internal cabling. The frame also features a tapered head tube. It is the only frame among competitors in its price range with a tapered head tube which gives me plenty of upgrade fork options. I plan to swap out the fork for a Rockshox Judy air or a Recon. The Suntour spring fork is fine for bombing around town but if you do mild trails, an air fork with dampening is the better option.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Fusion 10 as I think it matches my riding style and ability. It’s comfortable enough for rides around town with the fast WTB Ranger tires and even more fun on the single track flow trails. What I love about it most is the value compared to some other big name competitors.
