Blizzard Carbon 30

Very easy, very passable, very steep!

This will be my 5th winter on a fat bike and my first on Rocky Mountain Blizzard. The bike goes steeply up and even steeper down. The level of handling on snow is comparable to riding on trails in the summer on a regular bike. The many fastenings on the frame make you want to buy a couple of bags and go hiking. Well, maybe someday. Now I regularly drive up the mountain and drive down the snowy trails. And here the bike shows itself flawlessly!

I bought this Blizzard Carbon 30 to be able to keep riding through winter as we have more winter than summer in Montana. I was hoping to keep from missing my Rocky Mountain Element Carbon 70 through all those months of snow. Now it's going to be hard to choose which one to ride when it warms up. This bike exceeded my expectations by a long shot, and always puts a big smile on my face. It goes over anything and through some pretty deep untouched snow. It climbs effortlessly too. It's definitely a head turner also, as one lady said as I passed by on a quick run to the bank, "That's way cool!"

Picked up a Blizzard C30 this season primarily for hard pack snow single track and fire road rides. Live in Summit County, CO which offers tons of trail options. Several rides in and my feedback is nothing short of stellar. To start, the spec is nearly spot on at this price point. I dropped a Loam dropper (red color scheme) to make this ideal for me. Check out pic. In terms of the ride, so far I simply love it. Handles hard pack single track both up and down hill with perfection. The bike is super light. The joys of carbon! Use platforms and climbing is a piece of cake. Super stoked to shred this beast all seasons. Thank you RM!
