Soul 10

This new Rocky Mountain Soul 10 is my newest bike and already a favourite. I don’t see anything in this price range that is a better quality bike with so much to offer. The slack head tube gives it a killer look, but commuting on roads the overall ride quality feels as though the whole bike is carved from a single billet, buttery smooth without a single rattle or squeak. Hydraulic disc brakes (power disc brakes) stops the bike on a dime with just the pull of one finger. Shifts instantly and always smooth, no rattling or chain noises. In this price range, this is the bike. 5 out of 5.

My Rocky Mountain Soul 10 in turquoise/black/white doesn't disappoint off the beaten track although I haven't gone too wild with it but it didn't disappoint and what really surprised is its road manners on city streets - absorbs typical neglected pot holed city streets with ease and comfort. Seems to get attention from people on its looks too. I like the slack head tube angle/stance ; very cool. Stops on a dime - the hydraulic brakes are excellent. At this price point it does exceed expectations so I would give it a 4-1/2 out of 5.

This is a Great bike in XS for my 5' son, I installed a 100mm dropper and a DHF front tire and he loves it. Even the fork seems to work well for his 85lb weight. Great geometry makes this bike the entry level hardtail that can tackle steep rough trails and have the rider enjoy it, instead of just surviving.

totally worth every penny, very capable

Absolutely love my new Soul 10! Rocky mountain really knows how to make a mountain bike. The geometry is completely dialed. So balanced on the trail. So intuitive feeling. Like I've ridden it a million times before from the very first ride. Climbs like a champ and begs for more on the downhills. Very stable and the frame honestly felt more compliant than even a Chameleon does. The build spec might not be what people consider to be the highest, but it actually works really well and considering the quality of the frame this bike is way undervalued. This bike is going to be a good friend to me for many rides to come!
