My Favourite Bike

I have a full suspension 29er which is great but the Blizzard is an absolute blast. Very capable with the 66 deg. head angle on steep descents and great control at speed. I studded up the Cake Eaters with genuine Terrene studs (not cheap) but it was worth it. The traction is amazing on icy surfaces which you can't walk on. The Blizzard is a little heavy at 34 kg but you don't really feel it on the trails. The hills I was able to climb in the snow and the overall performance of the bike is a testament to the solid engineering and execution of this beast. All in all, this bike is my favourite bike. Can't wait until next winter.

So much fun

I rode this bike all winter and now into the summer and it is such a blast. My local trails are more of the xc variety and it does everything you’d need it to. The geometry is confidence-inspiring in the ice and snow and playful enough on dirt. For the summer I put Maxxis Minions on and that’s a fun pairing, and the default Cake Eaters were good for the winter. I did find the brakes became significantly better when I put a 203 rotor on the front; the 180s were fine in the winter but sketchy in the summer when the riding is faster. I would 100% recommend this bike to a friend, especially over some other, less aggressive fat bikes.
