“You are one ride away from a good mood.” — Sarah Bentley, British cyclist
With its commitment to inclusivity and community, Roam Fest is a must-attend event for those who identify as women mountain bikers across North America. Created as a safe and supportive space for riders to come together, connect, laugh, ride and enjoy every interaction as their pure self, this three-day festival brings the stoke annually to Fruita, Knoxville and Sedona.
Established in 2017 in Sedona, the festival has a jam-packed schedule of cool things to do, providing something for every rider, from dawn until dusk. Including workshops, bike demos, guest panels, movies, dance parties, feasts, and group rides, making it an unforgettable weekend of playing on bikes.
Rocky Mountain has been honoured to support the festival since 2018. In 2022 we showed up at the Sedona stop alongside brand reps and Rocky Mountain athlete Andréane Lanthier Nadeau for some ride clinics, demos and all the good times we’ve come to expect at Roam Fest. It did not disappoint.
As part of Roam Fest's mission to celebrate and promote diversity in the outdoor space, BIPOC scholarships are awarded to riders who have been historically underrepresented in the bike industry. We were excited to be part of this initiative and provide an Instinct to a deserving rider. Congrats to Delilah, we can’t wait to see you out on the trails with your new bike!
A special thank you to Thunder Mountain Bikes for their help in getting Delilah's new bike up and running!
Progressions were made, red rocks were rolled, and ear to ear smiles were had by all. We can't wait to see what the future holds for Roam Fest and are proud to support this amazing festival as it continues to grow and showcase the power of finding community in our sport.
Join us this year in Fruita, Colorado September 22-24 and Sedona, Arizona November 3-5, 2023. We look forward to being back!
