What are the suspension setup recommendations?

Shock Sag: We recommend approximately 30–35% sag for this platform.
Fork Sag: We recommend approximately 15–20% sag for this platform.

What are the shock sizing and hardware of the Instinct?

On all 2024 Instinct models, the forward shock hardware is a 20mm x 8mm ID pin and reducers.

What is the seatpost diameter?

Both the Alloy and Carbon versions of the Instinct require a 30.9mm diameter seat post.

What is the Instinct rear axle size?

The Instinct uses a 12mm x 148mm rear hub. The total axle length is 173mm, with a 1.0 thread pitch.

What is the maximum seatpost insertion for the Instinct?

Dropper post length is dependent on a few factors; the first being your saddle height and the second being the maximum seatpost insertion depth which you’ll find in the user manual.

What is the maximum recommended fork length for the Instinct?

The Instinct is compatible with forks up to 160mm in travel.

What is the chainline and chain length of my Instinct?

Instinct 27.5" wheels: 27.5" | XS - SM = 32T | 116L
Instinct 29" wheels: 29" | SM - MD - LG - XL = 32T | 118L

What is the minimum and maximum chainring size?

The minimum is 30 and the maximum is 34T.

What is the headset size of my Instinct?

Can I adjust the headset reach?

Yes, all frames are equipped with reach adjust headsets to fine tune the reach with 3 positions (short, center, long).
