Vernon, BC has a reputation for producing some of the best action sport athletes in the world, and freerider Hayden Zablotny is no exception.
First introduced to the world of biking through BMX at the age of five by his dad, Canadian BMX legend Pete Zablotny, Hayden spent four years racing before discovering mountain biking.
For Hayden, mountain biking is more than just a sport - it's a way of life. He's constantly striving to become a better all-around rider with a unique style and solid bag of tricks that reflects his passion for the sport. When he's not on his bike, you'll most likely find Hayden with a shovel in hand, digging and sculpting his playground.
From winning Best Style at the Freeride Fiesta to taking the King of the Castle title at The Green River Classic with the In the Hills Gang, Hayden is quickly establishing himself in the world of freeride. Known for having some of the best whips in the game, he also secured a win in the Whip-Off at the Big White Freeride Days and second at the Crankworx Whistler Whip-Off World Champs.
Looking to take his career to the next level, Hayden has set his sights on his ultimate goal - competing in the renowned Red Bull Rampage. With his strong drive and motivation, there's no doubt that he will continue to make waves in freeride. He’s making a name for himself with his amplitude and effortless style.
