Rocky Acquisition : A New Chapter
Rocky is entering a new phase. And we know people are talking — on the trails, in the shops, and online. Let’s take a moment to tell you exactly what’s happening, and what’s coming next.
One thing is certain: Rocky isn’t slowing down — it’s gearing up to go further.
Who are the new owners of Rocky Mountain?
Rocky is opening a new chapter with the arrival of four Canadian investors. They come from the worlds of cycling, distribution, marketing, and innovation. What brings them together: a shared vision, and a desire to give Rocky fresh momentum — without losing what makes it unique.
What’s their vision for Rocky Mountain?
To rebuild on solid ground. To protect what has always made Rocky strong — its DNA, its culture, its approach to riding — while giving it the momentum it needs to thrive again. The plan is clear: stabilize in 2025, accelerate in 2026.
Is Rocky still a Canadian brand?
Yes — proudly. Our roots stay firmly planted. Our R&D activities will resume in North Vancouver. The brand’s head office will move to the Montréal area to bring key strategic functions together.
Will this affect customer service or day-to-day operations?
In the short term, business continues as usual. Sales, customer service, after-sales support, and all commitments to partners remain fully active. And if anything does change down the road, we’ll let you know.
Are parts and components still available?
Yes. Everything remains in stock to ensure full support for Rocky bikes already out in the world. That support doesn’t end with the transition.
Are warranties still valid?
Absolutely. Rocky warranties remain fully in effect and will be honored.
Will delivery timelines be affected?
Nothing is changing at this time. If any logistical adjustments arise, we’ll communicate them quickly. For now, the team is doing everything it can to keep things running smoothly.
Will there be changes to the product lineup?
Yes — some. We’re streamlining the lineup to keep that legacy strong, with a sharper focus on the products that what matters most to our riders. The goal: simplify, strengthen, and keep delivering what works best.
What does all this mean for the future?
It means Rocky is still here. In motion — and ready to write its next chapter. If you’ve always loved Rocky, you’ll feel right at home in what’s coming next. The terrain is technical, but we like it that way. And we’re holding the line.
