With Norwegian roots and a strong desire to reconnect with the land, Celeste Pomerantz set out on a mission: to return to Norway and explore the trail network between Narvik and Harstad under the endless daylight of the artic circle during the summer solstice.
Long days on the saddle meant that Celeste needed a lightweight bike that could tackle long distances, big climbs and whatever unexpected technical terrain she might encounter while exploring. In short: a true adventure. Enter the new Element.
Coming from a long-travel enduro background, Celeste wanted the versatility of a bike that could handle rougher terrain, but didn’t feel overbuilt for the journey ahead. She needed the perfect balance.
Unsure of what the trails would throw at her, Celeste bolstered her build with a 140mm Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork, a Marzocchi Bomber Inline shock, Race Face Era wheels, bars, and cranks, along with a Maxxis Minion DHF/DHR II tire combo.
The outcome? A true down-country bike.
