Rocky Mountain is celebrating 45 years of pushing the boundaries of mountain biking, while Red Bull Rampage marks 25 years of freeride history.
Back in 2001, Wade Simmons claimed the first-ever Red Bull Rampage title aboard a Rocky Mountain RM6, helping establish a legacy that continues to inspire riders around the world today.
Twenty-five years later, the story comes full circle as the 2026 Red Bull Rampage returns to its original venue in Virgin, Utah, where it all began.
Two Rocky Mountain athletes will carry that legacy into a new generation.
Hayden Zablotny, the 2025 Rampage champion, and Thomas Genon, who finished second last year, are both set to compete. Rocky Mountain is proud to be represented by two riders who embody the spirit that has defined the brand since the beginning. From Wade Simmons pioneering the sport in 2001 to Zablotny and Genon pushing the limits today, the essence remains unchanged:
Progression. Creativity. The freedom to ride beyond what was once thought possible.
After stunning the freeride world with a rookie victory, Canadian standout Hayden Zablotny returns to Utah to defend his title and continue writing his chapter in Rampage history.

Meanwhile, Thomas Genon will make his 13th Red Bull Rampage appearance, returning after an impressive second-place finish last year and once again aiming for the top step of the podium.

Tommy G's BC Rampage Warm-Up
Before heading to Utah for this year's Red Bull Rampage, Thomas Genon spent some time exploring some of British Columbia's most iconic riding destinations.
From the legendary terrain of Kamloops and SilverStar to sessions at Brett Rheeder's Compound and the trails of Whistler, the trip was a mountain bike bucket list come to life. Between unforgettable riding and good times with his crew, Tommy made the most of every stop.
With his Canadian road trip complete, Tommy now turns his focus to Virgin, Utah, where he'll make his 13th Red Bull Rampage appearance and look to build on last year's impressive second-place finish.
More Than a Ride
Trips like this remind us why we love the sport. The unforgettable sessions, the long days on the road, the stories shared around the campfire, and the friendships built along the way are what make mountain biking so special.
As we look ahead to Red Bull Rampage, we're proud to support Tommy, Hayden, and everyone who will line up in Virgin, Utah. We wish all the riders, crews, organizers, and fans an incredible event.
Ride hard, stay safe, and enjoy every moment. We'll be cheering you on. 👊❤️🏔️
