Thoughtful assemblage of most of the things one needs for old SXC's
If you love the Slayer SXC (I have 3!) then this is enough kit to rejuvenate a lot of the hard-to-find wear parts on one bike. Note that in the picture it looks like there are only 3 IGUS bushings for the Seatstay/Chainstay pivot-- the 4th is hiding, nested in one of the main pivot bushings. The kit also has 4 upgrades from the '07 specs to later improvements: a thicker-walled main pivot bolt with external nut, equalized length (to 70mm, I think to avoid confusion) and solid insert bolts/countersunk washers for the two remaining pivot sleeves, and a new black through-bolt spanner for the upper seatstay/seat tube pivot to replace the old cylinder and washers. Not sure what the added 2mm length to the seatstay/toplink bolt means for bolt stretch/torque there, but I guess RM must know what they're doing. Inattentive home mechanics routinely put the original 68mm sleeve bolt back in the toplink/seat tube pivot by mistake, just as they'd put in the wrong size cone washer in the wrong way round. In my experience, the polymer bushings, aluminum sleeve bolts, and main pivot bearings wear out faster than the 6mm steel shock bolts and upper bearings, so you'll end up with extra shock bolts and 6001 bearings over time, and not enough polymer bushings. So you may have to buy RM's bushing kit for the SXC and extra 3001 bearings separately from someone else.
