Really like this bike, but about the other parts…..

I upgraded from a 26” Santa Cruz Blur LT to this lovely 29’er. My rear hub also failed only 1 month after getting it. Bike shop replaced it and mentioned that the hub was dry and one of the bearings was shot. I was really enjoying riding this bike until the rear derailleur snapped in half the day before Christmas while I was pedalling uphill. Thankfully it didn’t happen at a sketchy spot. I am not a heavy duty rider and I didn’t previously bang it on anything, so this was a mysterious thing to have happen. Some online sleuthing led to discovery of some other posts about potential shortcomings of Shimano XT derailleur breaking at the same spot due perhaps to some weight saving measures in the design. Now I am back to being a nervous Nelly but hope to regain some love after ski season is over.

great bike, bad rear hub

Great bike. Terrible rear hub as others have said. Luckily race face have been super good with my warranty claim. But still, these hubs should not be specced in the future.

Great bike, terrible rear hub

Great bike but the rear hub is trash. The hub currently has only 1 star reviews on its website. Mine failed after only a handful of rides. It's an expensive repair so not worth buying the bike with this spec! I love Rocky, but really too bad they took a chance on an unproven component.

Old guy getting back into riding

Super comfortable and tackled terrain I wouldn’t have “easily” attempted with my 1990’s hard tail. Amazing way to get back into the sport but I’ve got some learning to do.

Wilderness tours in beachburg has some amazing trails that they’ve put a tonne of maintenance into. Highly recommended! The low price for the season is well worth the quality of trails….

Insinct C50 2022

The ajustablity on this bike is awesome allowing me to fine tune the bike to suit my local trails & riding style.

The ride feel & finish of the frame is excellent & the choice of solid , well known & reliable components that finish the build are perfect.

This is my first rocky mountain & it leaves me with a huge smile on my face every time I ride it .

In my opinion this is the perfect trail bike & I would highy recommend it to anyone looking for a bike that really can do it all.
